The Bluegrass Heritage Museum in Winchester, Kentucky is a local history museum focused on preserving and interpreting the history of Winchester, Clark County, and Kentucky’s Bluegrass Region. Its mission is to “bring the history of the Bluegrass Region of Kentucky to life” by collecting, preserving, and exhibiting objects tied to the area’s people, culture, and influence on American history.
The museum is located at 217 South Main Street in a historic former medical building known as the Guerrant Clinic, a Romanesque Revival structure on Main Street. Exhibits cover a broad span of regional history, from Eskippakithiki Native settlements and early Kentucky history through agriculture, industry, community life, military history, medical history, quilts, telephones, and other local artifacts.
